Ashley Bendiksen is sought after by media professionals for both her powerful personal survivor story, as well as her expertise as a subject matter expert on abuse and violence prevention, adolescent mental health, resilience, and healing after abuse.

An experienced writer, Ashley is an accomplished journalist, senior writer, expert contributor, published author, and served as the former editor of two magazines. As a contributor, Ashley has been featured in Bustle, Entrepreneur, SELF, Thrive Global, Authority Magazine, and was an expert on the Crime Junkie Podcast, among many others. Ashley was also featured in an 12x international award-winning documentary on Notoriety Network.

In addition to her work as a speaker and consultant, Ashley is the co-founder of the Blue Hearts Project, a global storytelling platform for survivors of abuse. She also co-owns Island Youth Coaching, an agency specializing in life coaching and college consulting for teens and young adults.
