Ashley Bendiksen is sought after by media professionals for both her powerful survivor story as well as her subject matter expertise on domestic and sexual violence, adolescent mental health, resilience, and healing after abuse.

In addition to her work as a nationally touring speaker and Top Youth Speaker®, Ashley co-founded the Blue Hearts Project, a global storytelling platform for survivors of abuse. She also co-owns Island Youth Coaching, an agency specializing in life coaching for teens and young adults.

With an extended background in writing, journalism, podcasting, and on-screen features, Ashley guarantees quality and impact. She is an accomplished journalist, senior writer, expert contributor, published author, and former editor of two magazines. Her story was also featured in a 12x international award-winning documentary.
